Spikes!

I know this blog was ment to be only for my designs but couldn't resist writing of my new shoes as I'm quite addicted to shoes and high heels (well show me a girl who isn't.;)). These are my newest babies, Jeffrey Campbell's Roxie shoes w/ spikes! Absolutely love the design and the fact they are real leather and comfortable to walk with though they are quite heavy because of the spikes. They were rather expensive for my budget but sometimes you have to spoil yourself... ;)

Long time no speak... 

I decided to dedicate an entry to necklaces I have made. Most of the actual crafts you can see (frames, prints) are made by designers (so praise them!) but the necklaces and looks are designed and put together by me.

Remaking & recycling band t-shirts

Ever been annoyed about the fact that some of your favourite bands are making only XL sized t-shirts and you would really like to wear one? Or you have used your favourite band t-shirt so much that it can't be used anymore and you can't find the same anymore because it's sold out? Well, here are few easy tips to make too big t-shirts nicely fitting or old used t-shirts like a new. I actually stole these XL sized t-shirts from my boyf and put a little magic on them... ;)

First one is Midnight Configuration t-shirt, sold out long time ago... And I made a tunic dress of it with some nice details on the hem and shoulders.

Second one is also a long time sold out Two Witches t-shirt. I bought a black tank top and cut off the prints from the t-shirt and sewed them on the tank top. Although the print was little hazy it works cool with the tank... and it's like a new!

Skeleton Corset

So... I kinda got excited about painting fabrics and made the skeleton of the corset by hand. Besides the skeleton the centre consist skeleton hands, black rose, pearls and black pvc ribbon. I had some random white/black stripe fabric on my closet as well as the thick velvet. Waist corset has steel boning and lacing in the back.

Steampunk Fuzz part II

Good hangover-ish Saturday night,

So I couldn't stay just in one Steampunk outfit...! I couldn't resist making another one when I found such a beautiful Dali inspired clock parts and old-fashioned medical bottles. Clothing material itself was this time dark brown faux leather which was partly used to the other Steamy outfit in the entry before.

Outfit includes harness and garter belt. Pics tell more than 1000 words, there are quite a lot of nice little details in this outfit. :) I also had photoshoot w/ Tiina Salminen last month wearing this outfit, few of the pics are attached... So enjoy...

Steampunk Fuzz

What is steampunk all about? Missing clock parts, watches, keys, gears, pastel colours, sci-fi, cybernetics, combination of victorian and cyber style? What-so-ever it is, I was inspired of it and had to make my own steampunk influenced outfit.

The outfit includes underbust corset (or more likely corset top - though it has steel boning & lacing in the back - but the planning is different from the other corsets I usually make) and mini skirt.

The skirt is quite basic mini skirt - or belt ;) - having a big buckle at the front and side fold.




I found this absolutely beautiful faux leather fabric with golden print last time when I was in North Finland and simply fell in love. Also the print at the centre of the corset top is hand painted by me and I had lots of fun doing it!

Latex Macabre

Another older work of mine, from April 2010. Black & white underbust dress made of wonderful, delicious latex! Striped in the middle of the front and back. Straps around breasts and cute ribbon bows on the shoulders and hem.

At the moment I have obsession for orange latex (mainly because of my current hair colour, eh-heh), so maybe I will show some new latex designs when the time is right! Mau. ;)
